It's not just Silicon Valley: Emmanuel Macron Is Also Keeping Chickens

When the Mercury News' SiliconBeat posted "Watermelon-fed, $350 chickens in diapers bring the farmyard to the Bay Area" we passed on linking as beating up on the Valley poobahs had gotten too easy.
However, this is a bit different.

Hens Agathe and Marianne Are Emmanuel Macron's New Pets
A special enclosure has been built for two hens – Agathe and Marianne -- on the territory of the Elysee Palace in Paris, the official residence of the President of France.
President of France Emmanuel Macron has opened a henhouse on the territory of the presidential residence, according to the latest publication on the official Twitter account of the Elysee Palace.

The coop will serve as home for two hens called Agathe and Marianne, a unique gift to the French leader from one of the country's farmer cooperatives.
